Monday, September 11, 2006 A New CarI put down the balance for a new Car yesterday ... She's a 1998 Toyota Camry Sedan, shes in good shape, apart from 250,000 or so klicks on the counter. Hopefully this won't be a problem due to the Camry's uber engine reliability. I also got her for well under the market price for other '98 Camry's. She'll be delivered later this week (assuming no cock ups) then i'll be sorting out my number plates to be put on and then there will be some sort of Commisioning Ceremony. Perhaps in time for Mona this Thursday night? I have a shortlist of names prepared for the Car, but i'll wait for post-Ceremony to officially announce. The shortlist at this stage is; 1) Halberd 2) Warhorse 3) Warhammer 4) Dreadnaught 5) Carrack The nature of the names have been influenced by the Car's "Elder gentlemen/veterans" feel to it.
