Glennman says...

Man this site is getting like many posts on it and it may become a site which is becoming popular with the internet people.

To reduce harm, the internet people have suggested we change the name of this site from "Fridgetown".. to "The place in which people go to keep their items of food and the such cool and or cold for long periods of time city/area".. Or for short... "TPIWPGTKTIOFATSCAOCFLPOTC/A"...

or for slang.... tupywipugtiketyooFATSKAOflpotCA..

it kinda rolls of the tounge doesnt it...

yeah!

Lets hit the Mona

I just passed my 4 hour Windows Server 2003 Exam. I'm officially a Microsoft Certified Professional. So who wants to go to Mona to celebrate?

On another note Jono that is sad. So sad that last night I had to ask Tegans Bro Lachlan to watch the TV out in the loung room as I couldn't stop watching it (while I was trying to study)!! I'm a sucker for the bad tv. I know its bad, but I just can't help it!

a terrible confession

I have a terrible terrible confession to make ..

i am really getting into Big Brother this season .. after hating it season after season it looks like it might finally hook me .. why you ask ??

coz of the insider !!! its kinda like the "mole" one of the housemates is given secret sabotage tasks and missions ..

not only is this housemate cool, calculating, and intelligent, the tasks are good fun, and his handling is awesome .. its funny stuff and i recommend it !

This just might post ..
Thought of the day .. how good does it feel to be "well" i think this gets taken for granted too much. Yesterday i had a bad case of food poisoning and was throwing up all day, but now i feel alot better, and that feels, well great !

I am still here sorry

Hey Sara. I haven't left yet! I did a trial pack today and went for my first pack march. It was way cool! At least until it started raining 2 mins away from home so I got quite wet. And the pack was way too heavy to bother taking off my back and then finding my jacket. But it was still a good trial run. I dont know how fun it will be after lugging it around for a few weeks. :/ I also need to put a bit of padding on. It would be a little more comfortable if I had some mussel rather than just skin and bone. But I'm way to lazy for that!

Feisty was my fighting fish
and i wanted to buy him a mate
but if i put a mrs feisty in the fish tank
the mrs he would've ate

Where is Fish?

HE IS IN MY LOUNGEROOM!

OK so its not glennman fish (whereisfish.blogspot.com). It's my other new best friends.

A few weeks back our old fish bowl developed a crack in the bottom and water was slowly leaking out. So I came to the rescue fixed up our old tank. I bought some new supplies and a few new little animals and I've got a pretty good little ecosystem going!

Last night I subliminally messaged my new friends to all hang out in my lounge room, and guess what? They all showed!! Sure it wasn't a crazy night with bear drinking. But there was a relaxing vibe going on. It seriously is like meditation!

I have a plant, 4 fish, two snails, and a mussel. Check it! (It's better in real life)

Now I just have to name them.. Any ideas?

Let's keep it moving

So, in order to keep this site interesting, people have to POST MESSAGES here. often. Even if they are random bullshit, i don't care, it's nice to have something to read when i have no emails. So, my rant for today is this: My 2 uni buddies and I organised a night out (last night) with our french class, cause our french class is cool and everyone was keen for a night out. So, i spend all my phone credit sms-ing people the details, i of course expected some people wouldnt make it. We started with 12 people. Some people told me last week they couldnt make it, some people told me 2 days ago they couldnt make it, some gay people told me yesterday arvo they couldnt make it, this is all acceptable to me, i can deal with this. Then, i went to the city with my 2 buddies, rang the only other 2 people we were expecting. first, brent, he waited till i called him to tell me he wasnt coming. bastard. then i rang paul to say that only karessa, sharnie and i were there. he then told me that since "no one was coming, he wouldnt either" what an asshole. i was not impressed. So today my french class suck. oh well, i thought, the night wasnt over yet... so we went to some pubs and drank some really nasty house-sparkling wine, then we were all so tired we went home. on the midnight bus. what a fizzer. now i have lots of uni work to do and i dont want to do it. Someone post something exciting.

Davo Reporting In

Howdy.

I'm with Sara Matto. You can't ask those questions and not answer them your self! Hows work going? Still enjoying your self? Is Lisa still having fun at Uni? How much longer does she have left? When are you guys coming to Europe? :P

Sara I'm very envious of you and the uni life. I think it would be a great experience! It's something I've always thought about doing but never really got around to doing. Maybe one day...

I think most people know what I'm up to these days but just in case I'll remind you all. I'm flying to Hong Kong next Tuesday! Then onto the Netherlands!!! Damn cool huh, very excited. I've also been unemployed for the last 2 weeks. It's been very nice not having to get up and do the same routine every day. Last week I went camping with my Dad at Oberon which is inland near the Jenolan Caves. The idea was to go fly fishing, but for most of the time it was very windy. When you would try and do the casting back and forward with the rod, the fly would blow around and get all tangled up. So we only did about 5 mins of fishing. Instead we did cool stuff like go for walks and light fires.

When I get back id like to do a 3 day hike along The Six Foot Track. It starts at Katoomba and ends up at Jenolan Caves. But this will probably be quite a while away so let's not make any immediate plans.

Only one week left until I jet set and I think I'm going to be pretty busy. Feel free to drop and travel trips. As I'm a bit of a tourist when it comes to back packing. (Yes that pun was lame):P

I sure will miss you all! It would nice if everyone did occasionally update Fridgetown. That way I have something to read when I pop into the Internet Cafes and we wont loose touch with what everyone is upto. After all I do beleave thats the exact reason why Matto created the site!

Yo Matto! Nice to see a new post up here, i cant believe that poor fridgetown nearly died again. Where are you answers to all the questions you posted? As for me, let's see...
What are you up to? I am at uni. its fantastic, i feel like a teenager again! Studying a ba dip ed at macquarie uni.
Are you seeing anyone? Nope, did meet someone pretty special on my last holiday, but he lives overseas.
Are you happy at the moment? Very happy, im usually very happy, except last night i went to dave and tegans party and drank too much, i feel seedy today.
What has been the highlight of the year so far? Starting uni, its great fun, i love making new friends, its so social! I have been studying too, i managed to get 2 credits and a distinction so far!
