After a very long hiatus, Fridgetown is back! Once a abuse board for disgruntled year 12 barrenjoey High School Students, now a great way of keeping in contact with the gang.

Elves, trolls and deadly danger

SMH - Mental health experts now agree that online gaming addictions exist.

These babies are very addictive. Not my cup o tea though. I tend to think most of this fantasy stuff is just a bunch of hippy crap. Gandolf needs a hair cut, Aragorn is a goth, and Bilbo has no shoes (I rest my case).

When they make some sci phi MMORPG I'll give it ago. But until then I'm afraid teags, family, and friends are stuck with me in this reality.

I agree completely ... albeit I do spend alot of my time painting Trolls, Evles, etc for Warhammer/Lord of the Rings. This at least can be done outdoors, doesnt involve a computer, and u have something artistic and rewarding you can keep afterwards..

I also have a full time job, a full time girlfriend, and full time social calender ... on the other hand ...

some people (who will remain nameless) I know have gotten into Warcraft, and they literally dropped off the radar completely, giving up most forms of social contact (apart from work) to participate in warcraft...

the few times they did come out, they often spoke and communicated in Warcraft netspeak etc etc..

Seriously though, I DO think it's a nasty problem

BUT there are so many serious problems in this world, i'm surprised that Civilisation has held together this long...

So one kid commits suicide from Warcraft .. how many people die from car crashes each year ???? and wait for it ... Cars are not even legal BUT are highly desired !!! and dont even get me started on Cigarettes, or Online Role Playing Games !!!

ah well we don't have long before the Oil and Water runs out ... I'm seriously starting to wonder what the point is of bringing children into this world ... and if so that is pointless then u just may find me slumped over my computer with a fatal wound self inflicted.

A confused Elf?? Even if so, how would stealing some bra's and undies, help you to gain extra points in a role-playing game (presumably World of Warcraft) anyway??.... Nice try though :) Mel
