Monday, April 18, 2005 probability riddleOK, heres one that confused me for a while, and was made famous on an american TV show. You get to the final round of a game show and the host shows you three doors, behind 2 of the doors is a goat, behind the other, a car. you choose one of the doors, but instead of opening the door you chose, the host (knowing what door has the car) opens a different door, showing you a goat. he then gives you the option, stick with your original choice, or choose the other door. what do you do?
